Air Force Federal Credit Union (“Credit Union”) provides an interactive classifieds service (“service”) as a free benefit to Air Force Federal Credit Union members and those that visit the Air Force Federal Credit Union web site (“users”). Users include those that utilize the service at no charge to list items for sale or rent (“ad”) and those who respond to listings in the service. Users understand and agree to the following:

a. There is no relationship or partnership between the Credit Union and any user of the service. The Credit Union derives no financial benefit or incentive for any ad that is placed or item that is sold or rented.

b. Individuals must agree to register with the service in order to use the service to list items for sale or rent. The user shall take all reasonable efforts to ensure that data provided to register for the service is accurate and complete and not misleading in any way.

c. The service is provided as a benefit to the Credit Union’s membership community. The Credit Union intends the service to uphold community standards of decency and fairness to benefit all who use the service. If the Credit Union determines, for whatever reason, that these standards are being violated, the Credit Union reserves the right to (1) decline or withdraw the registration of users who abuse the service in any way, as determined by the Credit Union, without notice; (2) decline ad submissions for any reason, as determined by the Credit Union, without notice; (3) modify ad content for any reason, as determined by the Credit Union, without notice; and (4) remove ad listings for any reason, as determined by the Credit Union, without notice.

d. Use of the service is intended for lawful purposes only. Any transmission, distribution or storage of material or conduct in violation of any applicable local, state, federal or foreign law or regulation is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, any unauthorized use of material protected by patent, copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights; material that is obscene, profane, sexually explicit, defamatory, or libelous; material that constitutes an illegal threat, violates the rights of privacy or publicity, or violates export control laws; or unsolicited e-mail or service placing advertisements ("SPAM"). The service prohibits the listing or sale of any goods, the sale of which constitutes a violation of any applicable law, statute, ordinance or regulation. All forms of SPAM, and all activities that have the effect of facilitating SPAM are strictly prohibited.

e. The Credit Union reserves the right to refuse ads to promote services that could represent a threat to the core business of a financial organization. Such services include, but are not limited to, checking, savings, investments, insurance, financial planning, electronic banking services, consumer loans, mortgage loans, construction loans, student loans and commercial loans.

f. The Credit Union does not interact with users in any way and takes no responsibility for (1) the accuracy of any ad; (2) the quality, availability, representation or location of any item; (3) the price of item(s) listed; (4) the manner in which item(s) are sold; or (5) the price or method at which item(s) are sold.

g. All registered users understand and agree to (1) accept messages in response to ad listings by any method noted by the user in the ad (by telephone, by e-mail or in person at location of user’s choice); (2) edit his or her own ad if the user wishes to change the terms or the description of an item listed for sale or rent; (3) change the period of time listed in his or her own ad, if necessary; and (4) remove his or her own ad from the service when withdrawing the item from sale or rent for any reason.

h. The Credit Union is not a party to any transaction between any individual or entity who uses the service. Users assume all risks, including the risk that they may be dealing with a person or entity who may be acting under false pretense or fraudulent purposes. It is extremely important that users exercise caution throughout their dealings with all individuals or entities who use the service.

Privacy notice: The Credit Union will not sell or share information provided by users to use the service with any third party. Users understand and agree to accept messages in response to ads listed in the service. The Credit Union will not send unsolicited e-mail or contact the user in any way other than what is necessary to manage and conduct business relating to the service.

The Credit Union makes no representation or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the site, the information, the content, materials or products included within this service. The Credit Union is not liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and consequential damages. Additionally, the Credit Union makes no warranty that this service will meet the user’s requirements, that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. The user understands and agrees that any information or material and/or goods or services obtained through the service is done at the user’s own discretion and risk and that the user will be solely responsible for any damages resulting from any transaction. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from any user of the service or from the service itself shall create any warranty of any kind.
